Wildlife often seen on tours include fox, wolves, weasels, bison, moose, elk, eagles, trumpeter swans, and big horn sheep.
Tour price includes nontaxable guided tour and taxable lunch/snacks/beverages at $25pp inclusive of 6% sales tax in Teton County and 4% sales tax in Park County.

How long is the tour?
Guests may choose between a Half-Day Tour (approximately 4–5 hours) or a Full-Day Tour (approximately 8 hours).

We provide pickup from most hotels, vacation rentals, lodges, and residences throughout Jackson Hole.
Are children welcome?

Lunch is not included, but full-day tours can include a stop at a local restaurant or café based on your preferences.

Are wildlife sightings guaranteed?
No. Wildlife is wild, and sightings can never be guaranteed. However, our guides use their local knowledge and daily observations to maximize viewing opportunities.
How far in advance should I book?
Winter dates, holidays, and peak ski season can fill quickly. We recommend reserving your preferred date as early as possible.
Can we combine wildlife viewing with photography instruction?
Yes. Many guests are photographers, and guides are happy to suggest locations, timing, and wildlife viewing opportunities that help maximize your photography experience.

- Route varies due to group interests, road closures, and animal migration. Please dress appropriately for short outdoor winter adventures. Don’t forget your camera!
- All tours subject to change due to road closures/weather conditions.
- Buffalo Roam Tours is an Authorized Permittee of the National Park Service.
- Full payment is due upon booking
- Cancellation prior to 14 days of tour departure = fully refundable minus $30 processing fee.
- Cancellation between 8-14 days of tour departure = 50% refundable.
- Cancellation within 7 days of tour departure = non-refundable.
