SUMMER NATURALIST GUIDE Full time & Part Time in GTNP & YNP.

Join our dedicated, small team of guides with solid Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) knowledge and a passion to share this incredible ecosystem with visitors. We offer only private tours to maximize a quality experience for the guests and the guide.

We hire outstanding guides, both experienced and those starting out with potential to learn. Great current and previous guides have strong outdoor leadership skills combined with local field experience including; park rangers, field biologists, professional wildlife photographers, river & flyfishing guides, ski guides, science teachers, historians and guest service with a passion for sharing the outdoor environment.

Good guides tend to be energetic, curious, highly intelligent and continuously studious with a passion for sharing their knowledge with others.

Since 2012, our successful company fosters a sustainable work-life balance, so you set your own schedule to coordinate days off adventures. We provide paid guide training to enhance your skills and excel in your career.

EXCELLENT COMPENSATION: Competitive pay & Overtime at 1.5, IRA 3% match, paid training & certificate requirements, health insurance stipend and referral commissions. This career has a gratuity component. Yes tips!, if you provided a great experience. Common to get 10 -20 %.

Prerequisites & Certifications:

Clean and clear drivers License
Current CPR & 1st Aid or high level of medical
Food Handlers Safety Certificate www.servsafe.com
Pass a test of park knowledge ( we train & national park administers)
Knowledge of the local parks, logistics- where are the animals, geo-thermals and trails.
Knowledge of the Phenology, Geology, History of Grand Teton & Yellowstone
