Through guided exploration and interpretation, you will learn about the amazing volcanic geology, history, ecology and the courageous people who helped create Yellowstone– the world’s first national park. We tour the Lower Loop of the Grand Loop Road, and explore the Yellowstone volcano which includes thousands of geo-thermal features: hot springs, geysers, mud pots and fumaroles. Of course, Old Faithful Geyser is a must!
You will enjoy stunning views of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone – Upper (308 ft) or Lower (97 ft) waterfalls and the wildlife viewing opportunities in Hayden Valley. We are always stopping to look for animals and learn about the osprey, ravens, elk, antelope, bears, wolves and buffalo that roam freely in this awesome national park. Late afternoon we circle back over the Continental Divide toward Jackson Hole, where a beautiful Teton Mountain sunset awaits.
